H&G are recruiting HGV Class 1 wagon and drag drivers for our client based in Marsh Leys, Bedford.

PAYE rates for the role are as follows:

Days – £19.25 per hour
Nights – £21.50 per hour
£1000 retention bonus *

T&C’s apply
Minimum 8 hours per shift or 42.5 hours weekly for full time (5 over 7)
Full Time work with 5 Shifts per week
Paid Assessments
Temp to Perm opportunities

Job Details

As an HGV 1 wagon and drag driver, the work will involve truck delivery of products to the network Fulfilment Centres. Taking full boxes from Marsh Leys and dropping them at FC’s before returning back to Marsh Leys usually with returns or empty boxes. This operation delivers all year round and will provide each driver with a long-term ongoing assignment. In return for your commitment, we can offer guaranteed shifts and start times that suit you. Part time also available

You will have

As a HGV 1 or HGV Class 1 wagon and drag driver, you will ideally have –

1 Year HGV driving experience
No more than 6 points
Digi card and DQC
Be able to work as part of a small team
Multi drop driving experience
Eligibility to work in the UK
