We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Driver Trainer to take the lead at our Greene King site in Greenford. If you have a passion for road safety and a knack for teaching, we want you to steer our drivers toward excellence.

You’ll join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday. Start times will vary between the hours of 04:00 – 12:00, so some flexibility will be required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000.00 per annum and 33 annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

Assess candidates’ driving capability during the recruitment process, and during employment
Liaise with personnel such as Transport Managers, Transport Planners, and Operations Desk Staff Coordinators as necessary to maximise the benefits of HGV driving training
Deliver Driver CPC training
Design and maintain training materials and records

What you need to succeed at GXO

Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge, working knowledge of Transport and other relevant legislation
Up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
Experience of delivering training to drivers
PTLLS Qualified (desirable), other train the trainer qualifications may be accepted
An ability to adapt your teaching style to accommodate each learner
Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driving Licence Category C+E licence essential

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
