Full job description
We currently hold an onsite cleaning and emergency tankering contract with Yorkshire Water, and we are requiring additional drivers to fulfill an increase in work for multiple contracts. A mixture of both Class 1 & 2 tanker driving covering various tasks:

– Transporting sludge (sewage) from sites across Yorkshire

– General commercial waste tankering (non-hazardous)

– Onsite tankering and cleaning jobs on waste water sites

– Cesspool and septic tank emptying

– High pressure jetting (willing to put the right candidate through the training)

– Emergency call-outs

– Occasional general haulage

– Tractor tankering

– Cesspool and Septic tank emptying both Domestic and Commercial

Due to the nature of the industry, we do not have set shift times, therefore the candidate would have to be somewhat flexible. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, some weekend work will occasionally be required.

Ideally, 2 years of HGV experience, no experience with operating tankers is required as we will offer training. 1 week on the job training will be provided for all candidates.

Need up-to-date HGV licence and CPC.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress and gain training in Jetting & Sewer cleaning courses & confined space training.

Have experience or be comfortable to learn to operate a tractor tanker.
