HGV Class 2 Driver

We are looking for an highly experienced, conscientious and hard working HGV Class 2 driver.

The Role:
You will be delivering our own products throughout the midlands and within a 250 mile radius. You will be willing to do extra hours when required and a Saturday morning if required (very rarely), some hand ball but very little. Some Tail-lift work may be required from time to time. NO NIGHTS OUT!

The Person:
You must have a can and will do attitude, be able to follow direction and work on your own initiative. You must be reliable, hardworking, honest and methodical in your work load, smart in appearance and polite at all times.

Required Experience:
Excellent geographical Knowledge of the UK
Full HGV 2 Entitlement
Current Driver CPC
Fully aware of driver hour laws and be compliant at all times
Fully compliant with the working time directive – WTD
Multi drop experience – up to 6 – 10 per day + Bulk load – some long distance.
Have a very flexible approach

Very occasional night out maybe required (maybe never and only with a weeks notice) – Hotels only.

To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
