GI Group are currently looking for HGV Class 2 drivers for our client based in Slough Our client is a dynamic growing business

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be delivering great food and other catering products to a huge range of customers. From
restaurants and pubs, to schools, care homes and hospitals,
You will be helping the nation return to normality whilst still helping those in need.
You will be delivering the goods often straight to the chefs and managers who make the orders
You will be the one transferring the goods from your lorry to the customers on cages stacked with pallets.
Some orders can be large, so it is a job with a real physical element.

As a HGV Class 2 driver, you will need the following

Full UK Driving Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
No more than 6 points on your licence
Excellent knowledge of your geographical area
UK experience
Accrediting bodies accepted: ALLMI,

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
