Gi Group Scunthorpe are looking for Class 1 Drivers for temporary or temporary to permanent positions in the Scunthorpe and surrounding area.

As a HGV 1 driver you will be carrying out deliveries on behalf of our clients in either curtain siders, flatbeds or box vehicles. There might be an element of handball involved with the use of a pallet truck or cages onto a tail lift.

Duties will include
Deliveries of up to 1-6 per shift
Carrying out vehicle checks for defects
Completion of paperwork
Provide a good level of service to our client
Some runs may involve the occasional night out (allowance paid)

Essential characteristics
22+ years old (for insurance purposes)
Have held a full LGV C+E licence for at least 1 year
Minimum 1 year experience
Be reliable and safety conscious
Have no more than 6 points on your licence
No DR/DD/CD40/CD70/LC or TT99 endorsements

Rates of pay
£14 to £18 per hour
Night out allowance of £25.00 per night

The Best Connection on behalf of our Burtonwood based client are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 night Drivers for long term ongoing work.

22:00 – 01:00 start times available.

Full time and part time drivers welcome, we work around your availability.

Nationwide trunk work or local drop and swap.

No Loading or Unloading.

Clean and easy work.

Rates of pay per hour

£14.50 – Monday to Thursday

£15.00 – Friday

£16.50 – Saturday

£17.50 – Sunday
