Class 1 HGV Day Driver

Due to continuous company growth, Gee Transport Ltd have a position available for Class 1 HGV Day Driver to join our team on a permanent basis, with immediate starts available.

Gee Transport Ltd are a family run road haulage firm, who have been operating out of the Altrincham Area for over 50 years. We pride ourselves on being able to provide our customers with a quality service through our well trained and professional workforce. Gee Transport Ltd currently operate with a fleet of over 80 HGV Vehicles ranging from 7.5T to 44T; and a workforce of over 100 HGV Drivers.

This role is based out of the Warrington area covering Northwest Collections and Deliveries. Average working hours are between 10 am and 8 pm. This role would suit candidates living in the Warrington area as these vehicle will be based here permanently.

This is a weekly paid role, which pays £570.00 per week, payable weekly.

Gee Transport Ltd offer 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and on-going DCPC support, including free ADR training. All Drivers are also provided with an allocated vehicle and all relevant PPE and work wear.

Ideal Candidates will have a Class 1 Licence, DCPC Qualification and Digi-Tacho Card.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
