Freeway Recruitment are looking to register Class 1 Drivers;

Role: Class 1 (HGV C+E)

Job type: Temporary

Shifts – Nights – Sunday to Thursday (5 Shifts)

Start time: 20:00pm

Description:

We are looking to register additional Class 1 HGV C+E Night Drivers to join our agency team for our client based in Normanton.

Our customer is looking for experienced and competent HGV Class 1 Drivers to work Nights from Sunday to Thursday on a RDC to RDC trunking run to the South West. The distribution run requires a trailer swap and return to their West Yorkshire base. Average shift length is 10 hours.

Drivers must be familiar with curtain side trailers (Step Frame), safe load strapping, vehicle and trailer heights. All drivers have an excellent knowledge of national road system

Requirements:

Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
Good command of English both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills
Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
Presentable and professional appearance
Qualifications / training / experience:

You must be able to provide the following;

Valid Class 1 driving licence
Valid Digital tachograph card
Valid Driver CPC card
Have No more than 9 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)
2 work check-able work references
Pay

£16.00ph (Std Paye) plus Holiday Pay accrual

£18.00ph (Paye Umbrella)
