Freeway Recruitment are looking to register Class 2 Drivers for our client located in Leeds West Yorkshire

Role: Class 2 HGV C Driver

Job type: Temporary / Temp ongoing

Shifts – Days Monday to Friday

Start time/s: 0600/0700

Job Description:

Our customer is a small independent transport specialist located in Bradford and specialises in general haulage of palletised goods.

Curtain side vehicles,

Drivers will be required to deliver and unload both kegs/cases/crates of alcohol.

Regional multi drop, 10-20 deliveries per day depending on route and delivery run.

Drivers need to have a good-high level of fitness as the role required manual unloading

All deliveries are 2-person crews

Requirements:

Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
Good command of English both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills
Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client
Qualifications / training / experience:

You must be able to provide the following;

Valid Class 2 HGV C driving licence + Valid Digital tachograph card + Valid Driver CPC card
Have No more than 6 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)
2 work check-able work references
Pay

£14.50ph Paye (Holidays accrued) or £16.25ph (Holidays paid out)
