Treasury Manager
Our Group Treasury is a division of the Financial Management Group (FMG), responsible for the management of the funding, liquidity and capital position of Macquarie Group.
We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the Group Treasury Team based in London. You will have the opportunity to build on existing knowledge and experience in a challenging and dynamic role.
Role Purpose
You will contribute to the multidisciplinary role of the London Treasury team, which has regional responsibilities across Balance Sheet Management, Markets and Funding. Whilst the role may include responsibilities across a number of Treasury activities, your primary focus will be on Balance Sheet Management.
Key responsibilities:
- Regional liquidity risk management framework covering a number of entities globally
- Funding and Liquidity risk management of a number of entities within EMEA
- Keeping abreast of regulatory developments impacting liquidity management and funding across jurisdictions. This includes the implementation of new rules, peer analysis and interaction with finance teams on regulatory and internal reporting and providing support to businesses in the region on funding and liquidity matters.
- Review of new business and product approvals and facilitating dialogue with Group Treasury teams in Sydney.
- Leading a variety of projects within Treasury across Liquidity, Capital and Funding.
- Performing analysis and recommending initiatives to appropriately and optimally structure Macquarie’s products and businesses and assist in senior management decision making
- Writing papers for regional Boards and FMG Senior Management, working closely with other areas of FMG and all business units, developing junior team members.
