Class 2 HGV Drivers

We are currently seeking Class 2 HGV drivers to work with one of our key clients who are one of the market leaders in the distribution of beers and wines and all other associated products to pubs, clubs and retail establishments.

This Class 2 HGV position is for ongoing work based on the contract with the client. We are now approaching one of the busiest periods in this industry and are looking for Class 2 drivers that can start pretty much immediately.

This position will include a drivers mate to assist with the daily workload, so being able to work alongside another team member would desirable.

Training is paid for!!!

Successful candidates will need:
knowledge of the National Road Network.
Experience in Class 2 HGV multidrop.
good understanding of the Products.
size of kegs and always providing excellent Customer Service at all times.
ability to check goods on and off the vehicle.
obtaining Proof of Delivery and select routes when required.
Flexibility.
Generally fit and healthy.

Candidates must have:
Class 2 HGV Licence
Digi Card
CPC Card
Multi drop experience
Dray experience is desirable but not essential as full training is given
The ability to pass a drugs test before the employment would commence.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
