Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with a major national food distribution company based in Woolwich, recruiting HGV drivers for day work carrying out supermarket deliveries.
Maximum 5 deliveries a shift, no hand balling (all goods are in cages)
We have ad hoc shifts, on going shifts or weekend shifts. You choose what shift suits you best!
As a HGV driver you will need to have:
Category C driving entitlement for at least 1 year
No more than 6 minor points
Minimum 1 years experience driving & delivering to shops
Must have driven regularly in last 3 months
Details
Rate: Days 06.00-18.00hrs £10.00ph
Rate: Nights 18.00-06.00hrs £11.50ph
Rate: Saturdays £12.75ph
Rate: Sundays £14.50ph
Location: Woolwich
Duration: Regular shifts available every week with some degree of flexibility of start time
Role of HGV Driver:
5 deliveries per shift to supermarkets in the London area
All deliveries will be in cages & pushed onto the tail lift to be off loaded
Ensuring the safety of the public whilst operating the vehicle by setting up the area correctly as will be shown in your training

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
