We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced HGV Jet Vac driver/operator.

Class 2 qualified driver will operate the on board plant to undertake drainage maintenance work in a safe and efficient manner. Our drivers are competent and personable and have the capability to successfully complete works on the first visit and are confident in their communications with customers. As a 24/7 reactive industry there may be a requirement to work evenings, nights or weekends and carry out on-call duties on a rota basis.

Key Skills & Attributes

Demonstrable technical knowledge of drainage industry.
A full UK driving licence – class 2.
CPC qualification
Legal right to work in the UK.
Experience of high pressure water jetting preferable.
Understanding of requirement to follow H&S policies & procedure.
Commitment and enthusiasm for the role.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and public when required.
Key Responsibilities:

Driving and operation of specialist vehicles and plant
Completion of relevant vehicle checks and paperwork.
Completion of relevant H&S paperwork.
Completion of operations paperwork.
All tasks associated with drainage maintenance and repair including but not limited to: rodding, high pressure water jetting, pipe lining & gulley cleaning.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
