Job Description:
Employment Partners are recruiting and need HGV / LGV 1 Lead Drivers to work on Nights with us to support our Client in Birmingham.
It is 12h shift 4 on 4 off rota,8pm to 8am.
Salary £33k, 20 days plus 8 Holiday.
Tasks would include:
Arrive for shift and print out any driver infringements
Brief drivers as they come in
Manage holidays and pass agency requirements to Croydon
Call out any defects
Shunt vehicles on to bay
Carry out the last, short run (circa 4 – 5 hours)
On return, prep driver pack for the following night
Arrange the service/MOT vehicles / keys with Argos team
Provide figures to Croydon for the Ops report.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
