Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries to deliver goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper securing of items for transport.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
Familiarity with flatbed lorries is highly desirable.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for maintaining logs and documentation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
