We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 day drivers for temporary work with our client based in Grantham, NG32.

The Work:

The work involves delivering chilled/ambient/frozen produce to restaurants and food outlets within a given postcode area. There will be on average 2 to 5 drops per shift. Drivers will need to unload deliveries and deliver them into business premises so drivers must be happy with some handball.

Hours:

We are looking for drivers who can work around 3 to 5 shifts per week between Monday to Saturday. The number of shifts will vary from week to week depending on client requirements.

Start times for shifts are between 04:00 to 07:00 so drivers must be flexible.

All drivers will need to attend a 4 hour paid induction prior to working their first shift.

Pay Rates:

Weekdays – £17.33 per hour (PAYE)
Saturday – £21.67 per hour (PAYE)
Drivers will be paid a minimum of 8 hours per shift
Requirements:

Full HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driving Licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Cards
Minimum of 12 months recent class 2 driving experience. This is essential. Unfortunately we are unable to accept new pass drivers.
No more than 6 points on licence for minor offences (sorry no serious convictions such as DD, DR, CD, IN etc)
We are unable to accept Limited Company Drivers on this contract.
