HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Drivers – DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS – Supermarket Deliveries

We require professional and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing or permanent work with our client based in Derby, DE72.

The work is supermarket deliveries nationwide. You will be a doing a maximum of 3x store deliveries per shift and delivering return loads back to the RDC. Drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading their trailer using a PPT at RDC and store.

Day Shifts

Day shifts will involve working a 4 on 2 off rota pattern. Start times are between 04:30 -11:00. Average shift length: 10 hours

Night Shifts

Night shifts will involve working a 5 on 3 off 5 on 2 off rota pattern. Start times between 18:00 – 23:00. Average shift length: 10 hours

Pay Rates

(PAYE) £140.00 per shift
(Umbrella PAYE) £180.00 per shift
Requirements: Drivers must have at least 12 months previous experience of driving Class 1 articulated trucks and be confident to back on to bays at the RDC and delivery destinations.
