Class 2 Tipper Driver

HGV Rigid Tipper Class 2 Driver required to work from Huntingdon Alconbury depot Monday to Friday with some Saturdays if available. 6AM start time.

You will be required for class 2 HGV driving work delivering loose building materials to various locations in and around East Anglia. Deliveries are to Building sites, Highway works, Ready mix concrete plants, for example. This is an ongoing position and training will be provided on the job.

We provide P.P.E. clothing and keep your C.P.C. hours updated annually, we offer a stable job in return for those who are willing capable and reliable at their job driving the truck and delivering goods safely around East Anglia and surrounding counties.

Paperwork is required to be kept regarding daily delivery ticket, defect reporting and timesheets however this is easily manageable.

The Trucks are Clean modern Volvo fm with ishift automatic gearbox, air assisted tailgate and rollover sheet a very comfortable driving experience for the driver.

Preferences:

Previous experience within the industry or currently working with 7.5 tonne delivery trucks or above. Reliable local area knowledge is always a bonus.

However, we have successfully trained Drivers who have only just passed their HGV 2 Qualification. As long as your switched on, take the training in, and apply what you are being trained you are good to go.
