Location: Gloucester

Job Title: HGV2 Sweeper

Pay: £12.50 – £13.50 PAYE (Plus holiday pay)

Contract Type: Temp to Perm, on going

Shift: Monday to Friday, Start time 06:30/07:00. 50 hour weeks

Driving Force Recruitment operating as an employment business are offering an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV 2 Drivers to work for our prestigious client based in Gloucester on refuse collections.

Job Role:

You will be sweeping in and around the Gloucestershire area whilst adhering to Road Transport legislation and fulfilling the Company’s obligations.

Tasks and duties will include:

carrying out routine vehicle checks
making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure
emptying wheelie bins
driving HGV refuse vehicle (RCV)
maintaining a log book with details of trips, including rest breaks
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:

have at least one-year HGV Class 2 experience
hold a valid CPC and Category C licence
be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
have a great attitude and strong work ethic
be capable and confident in your ability.
Good local knowledge is beneficial.
