HGV 1 Tanker Driver

DRS are currently recruiting on behalf of their client based in Preston, HGV C+E TANKER DRIVERS. Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential, as the UK & European Tanker specialist company, has a two to three week training program, after passing the driving assessment.

This opportunity is working in the petroleum industry, with what they call the emulsion season. The work entails, loading and unloading of hot, non (ADR) Emulsion product, from a plant based in Preston to nationwide delivery points, to sprayers and mobile tanks. Which are used to assist with surface dressing on roads.

Nights away and flexible shift patterns, including regular weekends, are an integral part of the working week.

Full PPE is provided. All potential applicants, will need to be available for the whole Emulsion season, due to the high level of training given and investment of yours and the companies time.

A current C+E Licence, minimum of 2 years. CPC Drivers card and Digital Tachograph card are required.

This is Non ADR work, however an ADR certification would be advantageous as there may be other work opportunities once the contract is complete.

Pay rates are £19.05 weekdays and £24.60 weekends (hol pay inc) you will be rewarded with a loyalty bonus, based on the number of days worked at £10.00 per day on full completion of the season which will run from approximately March to September.
