HGV Class 1 Drivers Required For Blue Chip Client – Preston.

Monday – Friday Days £17.50 PAYE (Rolled Up Hols)

Saturday £21 PAYE (Rolled Up Hols)

Sunday £22 PAYE (Rolled Up Hols)

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using C+E Vehicles, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of loads.

Duties

Operate a lorry in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit.
Adhere to all local and national driving regulations, including hours of service requirements.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications

Valid in-date C+E licence with 1yr Experience of Driving C+E Vehicles.
Proven experience as a C+E Driver.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
