This role is open to those seeking employed work as well as self employed. All details to be discusses within the hiring process.

Role Description

This is a part time role for a Class 1 HGV Driver located in Adwick, Doncaster. The HGV Driver will be responsible for transporting goods, unloading cargo, ensuring compliance with driving time regulations. This role will include overnight stays with the vehicles being fitted with a sleeper cab (nights out will be paid).

Hours will range weekly as this is a role for covering call out work. This will include double manned routes and weekend availability. Hours worked will be during the day (no night work), but does include early mornings.

£16.00-£22.50 p/h

Qualifications

A valid Class 1 (C+E) license with at least 12 months’ experience
A valid CPC drivers card
Experience in unloading cargo and operating trucks
Adhere to driver regulations, including tachograph use and working hours compliance.
Complete paperwork and reports accurately, including delivery logs and compliance records.
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional attitude during deliveries.
Other Duties:

Completion of storing and returning of daily drivers log book records
Fill out the drivers weekly report book whilst recording any mileage, locations, fuel checks, vehicle maintenance.
Complete vehicle checks daily.
Recording any defects and reporting them to the Transport office
Keeping your vehicle clean
