D&A group are currently looking for Class 1 drivers for immediate starts in the Newmarket area. This will be regular contract work with competitive pay rates.
This is a great opportunity to work for a leading manufacturer who are currently experiencing an exceptional period of growth.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience in the UK
Valid and in date CPC and Digi-Tacho Card
Good level of English communication with customers and clients
Vehicle knowledge to carry out daily checks and comply with legal requirements
Your duties will include:
Delivering to other warehouses and stores
Varying drops depending on client and shifts
Average shift is between 10-12 hours, Monday – Friday (weekends are also a major requirement)
Hand in all paperwork to the office at the end of each day
No loading or unloading
In return we offer:
Hourly pay rate of £13-£16 per hour

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
