The Cybersecurity organization’s objective is to ensure that JPMC is able to effectively detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats against our technology infrastructure.  The scope of Cybersecurity comprises detection and monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities, managing security incidents, and evolving our preventive infrastructure to keep ahead of the threat.  We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm’s risk posture.
 
Cyber Assessments Service Manager
 
The Cyber Assessments Service Manager is key position within the firms global cyber security Assessments team.  The role is required to oversee the technical quality of assessments delivered by our panel of vendors and drive the evolution of the external service providers. In addition this role will be accountable for overseeing the execution of our Non-standard/Emerging Technology test stream. Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
 

Act as Pen Test subject matter expert within the Delivery Office function

Providing technical consultation to shape/guide service requests from the business

Oversee the delivery of Non Standard/Emerging Technologies Test Stream

Provide technical assurance and oversight of our vendor panel

Oversee and govern vendor tooling/test environment as used to perform assessment on JPMC assets

Drive technical quality of vendor delivered assessments

Partner with internal and vendor test teams to enhance vendor methodologies and improve quality of testing

Partner with the Vendor Service Manager to define and establish vendor a quality framework, focusing on technical quality and execution.

Establish vendor test metrics and KPI’s, define improvements and targets

Identify and implement service improvement plans where appropriate  
The Service Manager will be responsible for the technical elements of vendor strategy and quality that are delivered by the Cyber Assessments team. They will coordinate with technical SMEs within Cyber and the business to clearly define the drivers, objectives and feed this into overall vendor strategy. The Service Manager will establish long term partnerships with a pool of vendors to ensure the technical service quality and testing capabilities meet both the current and future organisational needs.  
 
A high level of internal and external stakeholder interaction is required in this role along with technical and testing experience, as such it would suit a business facing technology professional with a penetration testing background. The individual should be comfortable navigating a large organisation, working with minimal supervision and be well versed in providing sophisticated messages, written and verbal, to a variety of audiences.  
Financial services or security consulting background preferred.
 
Key Skills/Experience:

Demonstrable experience managing/running Penetration Testing Services, preferably 3rd parties

Good understanding of technology risk

Ability to Project Manage short term activities as well as longer term service improvements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Proven ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders

Highly responsive with an ability to handle escalations quickly and professionally

Ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team environment, contributing to overall success.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, plus the ability to achieve goals through influence, collaboration, and cooperation.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, from executives to technology specialists.

Integrity and high standards of personal and professional conduct.  
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 

Masters Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Technology related fields a major plus

Has or previously held CREST or CHECK qualifications

Is or has held PCI QSA

Certifications covering service delivery, ITIL, project management and CISSP beneficial

Demonstrable understanding of financial sector, or other large organization’s security and IT infrastructures
