LGV 1 Drivers – Nights

Connect Driver Solutions are currently recruiting in the Haydock area for LGV 1 Drivers for our clients busy site.

There are a mix of opportunities available including local work collection & deliveries as well as trunking to sites throughout the UK.

We are interested in applicants with the required skills and experience who are looking for either full time or part time / ad hoc shifts.

Work available is normally based on night shifts – covering a 24/7 operation.

As a driver your duties will include:
– Deliveries to distribution centres.
– Trunking Nationally to Distribution Centres.
– Tramping & Overnight work (from time to time)
– Collecting Goods from Suppliers.
– Carry out Daily checks on your vehicle.
– Complete all paperwork required by the client and hand into office as required.

The ideal Driver will possess the following skills and experience:
– Valid Class 1 / LGV C+E licence – HGV 1 Licence held for at least 2 years
– Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
– Digital Tachograph Card.
– We welcome new drivers who have passed licence
– No more than 6 points / No DD, DR or IN codes endorsed on their licence.
