Full job description
Clockwork Removals and Storage are recruiting for a HGV Driver to work for our Glasgow branch.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient packing, delivery and unpacking of our clients belongings to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to ensuring that our clients are given an excellent service from beginning to end and ensure that all moves are completed on schedule while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will receive full training to ensure they have the skills to deal with the clients belongings safely and securing, including training in the relevant health and safety skills to suit your role.

Duties

Operate a HGV truck for the transportation of clients belongings to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload the clients belongings securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
Manage time efficiently to meet the clients needs without compromising safety.
Skills

Experience in HGV driving with a valid HGV licence.
Ability to drive a HGV safely and efficiently.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with your fellow crew members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety on the road.
