Join Our Team as a Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver

Company: Clarendon Haulage Co Ltd
Location: Mellor Brook, Blackburn

Clarendon Haulage Co Ltd, a reputable, long-standing family business in Mellor Brook, Blackburn, seeks a dedicated Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our team at our depot.

Role Overview:

Responsibilities: Deliveries and collections for our national clients.
Distance Work: Average 2-4 nights out a week. Occasional Saturday run-in.

Candidate Requirements:

License: Full CAT C+E (Class 1) for minimum 2 years
Age: 25 yrs +
Documentation: Valid Digital Tachograph Card, Drivers Qualification Card (CPC Card)
Language: Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
Experience: General haulage experience preferred
Qualities: Reliable, punctual, with flexible work ethic
Knowledge: Good understanding of the UK road network
Residence: Applicants should reside locally in Blackburn/Preston area
Your Responsibilities:

General driving duties, ensuring timely deliveries nationwide
Maintaining load security
Daily vehicle checks
Compliance with vehicle safety and driving regulations
Accurate completion of paperwork and use of customer apps
