Team OverviewThere is a large and constantly changing regulatory agenda which is managed both centrally and within each line of business. It is the Rates/CEM Regulatory Reporting team’s responsibility to capture the requirements, write business requirement documents, manage UAT and coordinate release schedules to facilitate this change process. The team is also responsible for designing and maintaining a robust control framework and escalating risks where necessary. Responsible for:
This role will be responsible for business analysis, requirements gathering and implementation of process change and system enhancement.
Responsibilities include:
Project Management
Planning, Testing and Delivery of MFIDII day 2 requirements
BAU activity and deep dive (break reduction and manual processing)
Data analysis
Business analysis
Requirements gathering
Rates/CEM representation in larger scale, centrally managed projects
Driving and delivering process change
Status reporting – core team and senior management
Vendor liaison
Risk & Control management
Liaising with other project teams and technology groups to ensure projects run to schedule
Essential Experience:
Experience in a Business Analysis and Testing role
Investment Banking/Financial Services background, including FX, FX Options, Rates products
Experience of Financial Regulations
Strong analytical and problem solving skillsIdeal Experience:
Project Management (E2E)
Rates Derivative & FX/FXO trade lifecycle experience
Managing UAT cycles and issue management
Good IT and technical knowledge
Experience in improving processes and increasing efficiency
Essential Skills & Competencies:
Strong interpersonal, communication, planning and organising skills etcAptitude for understanding complex information quickly
Experience in identifying risk and seeks to control and/or minimise risk and knows when to escalate issues
Adapts well to shifting priorities
Ability to generate business recommendations to move execution process forward and to take initiative to conduct due diligence on new business ideas to determine feasibility
Ability to develop strong working relationships with members of the Business and Development teams
