Our team
The successful candidate will be employed to join the EMEA F&O Implementation Team within Derivatives Clearing Client Account Services. The team consists of 5 Onboarders responsible for translating a sales mandate into a live account by coordinating across our internal stakeholders: Transition Management, Middle Office, Client Services; And our external vendors and trading venues: Traiana, Bloomberg, LCH, ICE, Markitwire
Responsibilities
Internal Stakeholder focus
Coordinating Onboarding requests on the client’s behalf across internal support groups and business partners
Primary point of contact for providing updates to our internal stakeholders;
Liaise with third-parties such as Client Vendors, Clearing Houses, and other authorized interests, in order to facilitate the operational set up on behalf of our clients.
Internal partner coordination
Coordination across J.P. Morgan operational teams globally throughout the onboarding process. In particular, building strong relationships with Transition Management, Client Services, Middle Office and our Global Onboarding teams, in order to facilitate the integration and implementation of requests
Serve as initial point of escalation for internal support teams
Project management on an ad hoc basis
Participation and management of current F&O business wide projects, i.e. BREXIT and MiFID
Understanding requirements for implementing BREXIT driven changes to our infrastructure
Escalation of issues internally when required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Confident, driven, self-starter with an ability to work independently
Excellent attention to detail with intent to provide high level of accuracy
Very strong client management skills
Problem solving ability – can listen to client requirements, anticipate possible issues and seek to eliminate, mitigate, escalate as appropriate
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritise, multi-task and work within tight and changeable timeframe
Comfortable with technology, workflows and systems
Experience
Experience in F&O, OTC or FX and/or Prime Services is desirable but not essential
Client-facing experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work with and form relationships with internal and external counterparts
Experience in project management is desirable
