About the J.P. Morgan Markets:
J.P. Morgan Markets is the digital platform and delivery solution for both internal and external clients of the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). It hosts applications across the entire lifecycle – Pre-Trade, Trading and Post-Trade.
The objective of the CIB Product Incubation team is to provide an approach for new product opportunities and test viability, the ability to test ideas without disrupting existing business priorities and develop emerging technology fueled products with clients.
The candidate will play a key role in driving, managing and leading Product Incubation initiatives. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, an understanding of our business and emerging technologies and the ability to work with different teams in a constantly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own, evolve, and deliver incubation initiatives to realize the vision of accelerating product development and creating scalable, cutting-edge and client-oriented product offerings
Source, research and explore transformational ideas, partnering with business stakeholders to assess opportunities, creating proof of concepts, piloting and establishing solutions towards production
Closely track market trends, competitive landscape and be informed on emerging technology developments and firm-wide agendas, such as: APIs, Authentication, Virtual Assistants, etc.
Influence decisions on platform strategy, client engagement and adoption by partnering with Business leads, Sales, Markets Execution, Client Services and Technology. Ensure tighter integration with clients across asset classes and business functions. Look for opportunities beyond the Investment Banking Markets scope
Establish relationships with Sales, Trading, Business and Clients to ensure that customer feedback helps inform the product strategy
Develop detailed product requirements, user stories and specifications for new product concepts, however, also work in an agile manner with technology team in partnership on development
Identify opportunities for vendor partnerships and drive the agenda of defining the commercialization roadmap for relevant initiatives.
Analyze usage statistics and metrics in order to drive the product evolution. Provide regular updates/reports to key stakeholders communicating progress and define key metrics and success criteriaKey Skills

Technical mind-set with experience in at least one object oriented programming language and ability to conduct/contribute to tech-oriented discussions with developers, architects, etc.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures
Highly developed communication and partnership skills – attention to detail in written format and articulation in verbal format
Ability to articulate and present ideas/proposals to senior business managers, technical leads, etc.

The successful candidate should also possess the following attributes:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
