J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) is a global leader across Banking, Markets & Investor Services. The CIB provides strategic advice, raises capital, manages risk and extends liquidity in markets around the world.
The CIB is looking for a strong marketer to join the Marketing and Communications team in London covering the EMEA region. This role reports to the EMEA Marketing & Communications Operations Manager and partners with the brand team, global marketers and communicators to produce materials for both internal and external audiences. Projects will include video, sponsorship ads, local branding support, presentations for senior management, etc. Attention to detail and the ability to interact effectively with different levels of CIB Management are critical in this role.
Responsibilities
Act as the marketing liaison with local country teams and non-CIB businesses
Provide sponsorship ad support for regional awards, reports, ceremonies, etc
Partner with designers inside and outside of the Marketing & Communications team to ensure projects meet established standards.
Act as the primary CIB contact for the digital signage screens in EMEA. Partner with the Brand team on templates. Develop content and slides on an ongoing basis.
Provide support for vendor relationships in the region. This may include onboarding and maintaining contracts with Sourcing.
Work with the Brand and Analytics teams to compile messaging and data for senior management reports. Other reports may include tech, EMEA website metrics and other communications and marketing channel reports.
Assist the head of EMEA Communications and the broader team with video projects.
Provide marketing and communications support on PowerPoint presentations.
Develop content and messaging in partnership with Marketing and Communications and work with the Brand team on related data visualizations and infographics.
Provide ad hoc support on time zone sensitive projects ranging from social media to local communications, etc.
Partner with Corporate, Brand and Operations on the development and project management of lobby displays, etc.
Take a “see something, say something” approach to all materials, imagery, templates, etc that come through off-brand and Corporate functions to ensure future communications meet the established standards.
Provide content and messaging support for Intranet page development in partnership with the Intranet, Brand and Communications teams.
Take active role on Innovation team and lead related projects through to rollout
Provide ad hoc design support (resizing images, etc).Qualifications
BA in Marketing, Communications or related field required
2-5 years’ experience
Superb project management and time management experience
Ability to work consecutively on multiple projects under tight deadlines and reprioritize depending on business needs
Expertise in Word and PowerPoint
Attention to detail a must
Comfort with video technology and using hand held devices to create user generated content
Comfort using social media platforms and video
Adobe skills preferred, in particular Photoshop and Illustrator
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including copywriting, editing and proofing
Ability to collaborate with marketing, media relations and internal communications and business colleagues globally, maintaining a network of contacts across the firm
Strong judgment skills required
Self-starter, professional, focused and reliable
