Our business The International Non-Linear trading business market makes vanilla to complex OTC derivatives and structured notes for a wide variety of high profile CIB clients, including hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds, corporate clients, banks, and asset managers. The mandate covers predominantly interest rate and fx products across most G10 currencies.
Opportunity
Associate level role
Making markets and managing risk in OTC derivatives
Partnering with sales to meet client needs
Working with controllers to increase risk transparency and controls
Coordinating with support functions to improve models, tools, reporting, and general efficiencies
Requirements:
Demonstrable trading/market making experience, in-depth product knowledge, and/or sales/client interaction Essential skills
Bachelor’s degree minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent
Strong analytical skills
Ability to react quickly to changing market environments
Strong approach to control environment
Good Excel skills
Works well within a teamThis role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
