Chandlers (Farm Equipment) Ltd has been servicing the needs of the agricultural, vehicle and groundscare industries for over 85 years and are one of the largest AGCO dealers in the UK, supplying new machines and aftersales for Massey Ferguson (Chandlers (MF) Ltd), Fendt & Valtra (Chandlers (FV) Ltd), and JCB (via Chandlers RFM). Along with a full range of complementary machinery from leading manufacturers.
As a (Class 1) Lorry / HGV Driver, you will:
Deliver and collect agricultural machinery and equipment using an articulated 44 tonne low loader, and also other means as required at times.
Safely load, secure and unload machinery.
Provide customers with delivery paperwork and obtain signatures where applicable.
Comply with all relevant legislation.
As a (Class 1) Lorry / HGV Driver, you must have:
A clean CE licence.
Experience driving and handling agricultural machinery.
Driver qualification card with driver CPC training.
A digital tacho card.
Forklift License.
Good geographical knowledge.
A smart appearance, a polite nature, and good communication skills are also important – deliveries are varied and often to customers.
