About the Role:

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Day Drivers (LGV C+E) for a number of reputable logistics contracts based in Trafford Park. This role is ideal for drivers looking for ongoing full-time work or flexible ad-hoc day shifts, with consistent start times and modern vehicles.

This is a great opportunity to secure regular day work with excellent pay and long-term potential.

Job Details:

HGV Class 1 (C+E) day driving roles only
Range of work including trunking, RDC/store deliveries, and general haulage
Mixture of local and regional runs
1–2 drops per shift on average
Clean, modern fleet and well-planned routes
Immediate starts available
Pay Rates (PAYE):

Day Shifts: £15.50 per hour
Holiday Pay Inclusive Rate: £17.37 per hour
Overtime and premium rates may apply depending on client assignment
Candidate Requirements:

Valid UK Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience (essential)
Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN endorsements)
Good level of spoken and written English
Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
