Full Job Description
We are delighted to be recruiting for a family owned and managed business which was incorporated in 1998. Legend has it that the initial purchase of the company’s first road sweeper was a fortunate stroke of serendipity involving a burger van and missed JCB lot at an auction.

Responsibilities:

– Road Sweeping – consisting of public roads building sites & housing estates.

– Driving with care

– No handball involved – mainly driving

Hours and Pay:

– 5 days/week (Monday to Friday)

– Start times – between 06:00 AM and 10:00 AM

– 12–13-hour shifts

– Overtime available

– Pay rate: £12.50 per hour (£14.19 Including Holiday Pay)

Desirable Experience:

– Previous road sweeping experience would be desirable but it’s not essential.

– Left Hand drive experience could be advantageous.

– Need to have a valid / in-date CPC. No more than 6 points on your licence, no DR10 or IN10’s on licence.

– Candidates with basic English accepted.

– Possible TEMP TO PERM (Based of performance)

Training:

– 1 week of full training provided. You will work close with one of the current drivers and shadow them.
