Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ad-Hoc Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a lorry, ensuring timely delivery of goods to various locations. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellent service and reliability. The successful applicant will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various driving conditions.

Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry for the transportation of goods across designated routes.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before and after trips.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.
Experience

Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with flatbed lorries.
Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with an excellent driving record.
Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and logistics operations is advantageous.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
