Job Description

Bluestone Transport Limited, Hickley are looking for a reliable 18T Class 2 driver to carry out various deliveries from Fortec at Watford Gap. You will need to have a current CPC drivers certificate. We offer a competative salary and various hours Monday to Friday. The position is based at Fortec, Watford Village, Nortamptonshire. The interviews will be held at our main offices in Hinckley.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy

* Reporting any vehicle defects or damage to the line manager

* Ensuring the loads are safe and legally compliant at all times

* Checking and correctly using any paperwork issued in relation to the load(s) carried

* Keeping vehicle clean and in good order

* Driving in a safe and efficient manner at all times, complying with all road legislation

* Following all site safety rules and operating in accordance with traffic managements plans

* Liaising with Supervisors and Team Leaders to ensure the efficient planning and movement of pallets

* Ensuring your drivers card is downloaded each and every Friday
