HGV Class 2 Driver

Bluestone Transport Hinckley are looking for a reliable 18T Class 2 driver to carry out various deliveries across the U.K. You will need to have a current CPC drivers certificate. We offer a competitive salary and various hours Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy

* Reporting any vehicle defects or damages to the line manager

* Ensuring the loads are safe and legally compliant at all times.

* Checking and correctly using any paperwork issued in relation to the load carried

* Keeping vehicle clean and in good order

* Driving in a safe and efficient manner at all times, complying with all road legislations

* Following all site safety rules and operating in accordance with traffic management plans

* Ensuring your drivers card is downloaded each and every Friday

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
