Class 1 Weekend Driver

At Blue Arrow we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for 10 – 12 hour long, attractively paid shifts for a client of ours with multiple locations in the North East.

These locations including: South Tyneside, Gateshead, Durham, Billingham and Stockton.

This role is temporary, however they often fill their permanent positions with Blue Arrows agency drivers.

Pay rates: Hourly rate + £59- £64 per week holiday pay *based on a 45 hour working week*

Weekends – £22ph

8 hours minimum guaranteed however shifts usually exceed 11 hours plus

The majority of the work is back or night shifts.

The role includes trunk runs down to 1 of 5 hubs based in the midlands.

You must have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience.

We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR on a licence.

In order to process your application, you must have the following:

HGV Class 1 entitlement
CPC
Digi tacho card

We cannot accept more than 9 points or DR on a licence.
