We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fleet Supervisor to gain knowledge and develop their skills as an administrator for a well-known kitchen company in Rochester.

You will receive full training on all daily tasks.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all HGV assets
Ensuring all MOT’s, inspections and maintenance are kept up to date and documents uploaded onto Truck file platform.
You will work with the transport depot so they meet timelines for inspections and MOT’s.
In contact with suppliers to arrange hire of assets
Working with current Fleet team to ensure all compliance documents are up to date for all trailer assets
You will have a sound understanding of Fleet compliance and maintaining fleet using the guide to maintaining roadworthiness.
A good understanding of categorising defects
Ensuring depots are actioning defects reported by driver daily checks appropriately
Schedule maintenance for all trailers, bearings, hubs etc working with BPW and others
Actively engage with new technology and find ways to manage the fleet effectively
Seek out new initiatives from suppliers
Apply technologies to ensure continued DVSA Earned Recognition Standards
Work towards a qualified status for your own PDP

Must be able to work 5 out of 7 days
40 hours per week
Essential requirements

Excellent attention to detail
Capable of making confident decisions and problem solving where necessary
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Good IT skills, excel, word and online platforms
Present weekly progress reports to line manager
