HGV Class 1 Driver

BE Recruitment are starting to recruit 15 x Class 1 Drivers ahead of there peak period for our client in the Atherstone area of Warwickshire on contract work starting November 2020 going through to Mid January 2021.

We are working in partnership with a national brand who offer one of the best seasonal packages to drivers in the country. The contract is a commitment from both our client and the driver who will offer 5/6 days per week in the run up to Christmas 2020.

Class 1 Drivers will work on a mixture of normal & double decker trailers and duties include trailer swaps, distance work, trunking and up-to 2-3 drops.
Pay rates are as follows:
£17.00 PAYE (Noons 2pm-7pm starts)
£18.50 LTD (Noons 2pm-7pm starts)
£19.00 PAYE (Nights 7pm-12am starts)
£20.00 LTD (Nights 7pm-12am starts).
There are roles available for drivers Mon-Fri & Tues-Sat and Class 1 Drivers can expect to work 45-55hrs per week.
The on-boarding process takes 2-3 weeks which includes:

An online registration (for social distancing purposes
Specific company paperwork, background checks, DBS checks
A 4hr paid driving assessment
