An exciting opportunity for a Recovery Driver / Class 2 Driver / HGV Driver to join the team. The role involves collecting accident damaged and broken down vehicles from Roadside, and existing clients as well as delivering vehicles throughout the UK.
Previous recovery experience is desirable. You must hold a clean driving license, preferably with a Class 2 entitlement.
The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Recovery Driver / Class 2 Driver / HGV Driver role:

Dealing with driver queries.
Coordinating drivers, vehicles and movements on site
Liaising with Workshop for vehicle services.
Liaising with vehicle swaps regarding traffic flow and movements at peak times.
Ensuring site speed restrictions and rules are enforced.
Quality checking driver vehicles / standards.
Ensuring site traffic flows and pinch points on site are kept clear and remain functional.
Loading and unloading of vehicle transporters and recovery trucks.
Excellent communication skills / Good interpersonal skills.
Good team working skills.
Good general knowledge of vehicles.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach on site.
Driving license.
