The Credit & Banking Business Management team is a global team with a presence in New York, London, Geneva, and Hong Kong that has specific responsibility for supporting the global lending and banking businesses within Private Bank and leadership with quantitative analysis, project planning, and execution.
Position Description
The EMEA Credit Business Manager will be an individual contributor, within the Global Mortgage Business Management team. He/she will support Head of EMEA Mortgage Solutions and manage strategic initiatives and ongoing business operations, including the creation of business plans, design and launch of new mortgage products, monitoring business metrics, preparing quantitative and qualitative analysis, and senior management presentations. The role will require managing cross-functional teams and liaising with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology and Front Office partners to execute projects and business initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Complete strategic business reviews and present to senior management and key stakeholders
Perform end-to-end process reviews, including: business analysis, formulating recommendations and implementation
Coordinate compliance and regulatory reviews in the mortgage space and subsequent process re-engineering, including standard operating procedure development and internal policy review and adjustment
Spearhead Sales Management tasks and drive enhancements to sales management process
Contribute to the development of mortgage business policies and procedures
Co-ordinate project activities across organization and key stakeholders, including middle office operations, client service, technology, compliance, legal and finance
Monitor status of all projects of the team, help mitigate risk, escalate issues when necessary and manage stakeholder expectations
Develop analyses of the current portfolio, loan pipeline, and business trends
Create training materials on various subjects and deliver training courses for various audiencesQualifications & Requirements
Overall Candidate Profile:
Background in financial services/wealth management space
Experience may include end-to-end client engagement involving business analysis/data gathering across the business enterprise, formulating business requirements and strategies to address numerous gaps, implementing complex solutions involving various teams on behalf of clients in a Financial services industry setting
Understanding of Lending business models, particularly residential real estate lending is preferred
Exposure and understanding of UK mortgage regulatory environment is strongly preferred
Ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels of management
Exposure to wholesale loan pricing methodologies is a plus Essentials:
