Job description
The EMEA Screening and Central Onboarding team UK (COT UK) forms part of the Client Services & Business Platform.
COT UK is a centralized unit for all overnight screening results for EMEA and are responsible for reviewing all resultant Sanctions, Negative Media and PEP alerts in accordance with internal guidelines and escalation standards. The team is also a central function for the corporate onboarding for the UK Funds business and must validate AML/KYC documents, create KYC records and review AML/KYC reports in line with Customer Due Diligence and Onboarding procedures.
Main responsibilities include:
Oversight of all centralized screening results for EMEA
Oversight of all potential suspicious activities
Oversight of all corporate onboardings for the UK Funds business
Ensure issues are identified, escalated and resolved appropriately
Present escalation cases to senior stakeholders; clear articulation of findings
Act as delegate for manager in key forums
Delivery of monthly metrics to Senior Management
Management of AML/KYC procedure updates and review processes
Focus on operational excellence and regulatory compliance
Partner with AML team and GFCC to ensure compliance with Global/local requirements
Partner with Technical teams to address data needs/drive enhancements
Establish effective relationships with wider business groups (internally & externally)
Assist with internal Compliance reviews and external AML audits
Keep abreast of new AML regulations and developments in market practicesEssential skills:
