Salary: £30,016 OTE following qualification + Overtime for Weekends

Contract: Permanent

Location: Based at Winterstoke Road, Weston-super-Mare

Hours: 40 hours per week

North Somerset Environment Company Ltd. (NSEC) works in partnership with North Somerset Council and delivers the following services:

Collecting recycling and waste from over 100,000 homes and commercial businesses across North Somerset and the wider area
Managing Household Waste Recycling Centres at Backwell, Portishead and Weston along with two Waste Transfer Stations in Weston.
Maintaining 1,100km of North Somerset highways including surface repairs, winter maintenance, gully management, drainage and kerbing repairs, signage and linemarking, and 24/7 emergency response services.
HGV Driver and mobile plant training, vehicle servicing and maintenance, event cleaning and other environmental and highway maintenance specialisms to commercial businesses

North Somerset Environment Company Ltd (NSEC) are offering free professional Driver Sponsorship for those wishing to qualify as an HGV Class 2 / LGV Class C Driver.

You’ll join us as a Recycling Loader whilst you qualify. You will be expected to deliver a first-class service, collecting recycling and waste from the households of North Somerset’s residents, in this customer focussed role – making a real difference to the county and the environment. All routes are pre-set and planned out for you with training, equipment, and technology available to assist you to complete your tasks. This supported by our team of dedicated supervisors, who are available for guidance on a daily basis.
