About Us:
Hescott Engineering / AIM Group is a leading structural steel fabrication and erection company operating throughout Scotland. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, we are expanding and looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our busy team.

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and dependable HGV Driver to support the transport of structural steelwork, equipment, and materials to various sites across the region. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries as part of our site logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate HGV vehicles to transport steel and equipment to and from sites
Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials
Maintain vehicle condition and complete daily checks
Comply with all transport and health & safety regulations
Liaise with site teams and logistics staff to coordinate deliveries
Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E)
CPC qualification and up-to-date digital tachograph card
Previous experience in construction or steelwork transport preferred
Good understanding of load securing and safe transport practices
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
