Looking for a steady, predictable working pattern without weekend shifts? ADR Network is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for XPO in Gloucester.

Structured, manageable work – typically 8 -10 drops per day, mainly to business premises including high street locations and offices, with occasional residential deliveries. The work is palletised, using pump trucks for offloading, and full training can be provided if required.

Shift patterns:

Day shifts – starting around 09:00 / 10:00
Pay and benefits:

Day rate: £16.00 per hour (holiday pay accrued separately)
Ongoing assignments booked a week in advance
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) licence
Driver CPC & Tachograph Card
Drivers with minimal experience are welcome and will be supported with additional training
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
