Job Title: HGV 1 Lugger Driver
Salary: Competitive salary + 25 days holiday + Bonus
Location: Colchester
An exciting opportunity is available to join one of the countries leading building product manufacture.
The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for an agreed customer base within the Southern Region area, which may involve some nights out due to business needs and delivery locations.
Responsibilities Include:
Deliveries and collections of Silos to and from customer sites.
Inter depot movements.
Maintaining correct customer paperwork and PODs.
Fully maintaining your vehicle and drawbar trailer to VOSA / DVSA standards.
Essential Experience Required:
Experience in driving HGV 1 Draw bar Combinations.
Use of HIAB lifting Equipment.
Have a good Knowledge of Drivers Hours and Tachograph Rules and Regulations.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
