We are currently recruiting for a number of positions for one of our clients based in Leeds. The client is quickly establishing itself as a leader in the logistics industry, running over 30 trucks within months of opening and continuing exponential growth. .
The work is carried out on behalf of a range of blue-chip companies and offers drivers the opportunity of consistent ongoing work and the option of a temp-to perm arrangement leading to a full time position. The work is simple and consists of a mixture of long distance trunking and/or local deliveries to Customer RDC’s. There are no store deliveries.
Start times are available 24 hours a day and drivers should expect to work an average 12/13 hour shift due to the long distance nature of some loads. The contract runs across 7 days and we are ideally looking to recruit drivers who are willing to work weekends as part of a fixed pattern or are fully flexible with their working week.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of HGV operation. They will have the ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions are required as well as a professional manner while liasing with the transport office with any delays/issues. Drivers must have a minimum of 6 months class 1/Category CE driving experience and speak good basic English.
We offer a competitive salary and premium rates for weekend work. Immediate starts are available and work will be guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months on this all year round contract.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
