Job Description:

Monday to Friday operation with most of the class 1 routes starting from 2AM on wards.

A majority of the time the artic routes will consist of just one drop, but this could be a full load of 1000 tyres which you must help to unload, so its vital that you are also capable of unloading approximately 1000 tyres… which is quite a workout!

On rare occasions there could be up to 3 drops, but this is very few and far between.

On returning to the depot there may be some shunting required, this is something that all of our drivers are expected to contribute to if needed.

We are looking for Drivers who:

Demonstrate a respectful, positive attitude towards others.
Behave in an honest and open manner
Work effectively as part of a team
Work safely within the health & safety environmental guidelines and insist others do the same
Hold a valid LGV C+E Driving License
Hold a valid Driver CPC
Have knowledge of the geographical area
Have the ability to communicate in English
Physically fit

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
